Absolutely amazing - I ate here at 7AM two days in a row during my trip to Tokyo in March. The staff was very welcoming and the sushi chef recognized me on my second day, happy to see me back. I thoroughly enjoyed it, the atmosphere was relaxed and the flavors were amazing. Best sushi I had during my trip! Highly highly recommend
We stayed in Tokyo for 2 weeks and tried so many Japanese food. This place this the only one we visit twice during 14 days! It’s really worse to give a try! 📌REMEMBER, if you have limited time for ur trip, never go early morning or noon, because it will take up to 1-2hr wait for a seat. I went around 3pm both days and no waiting time for two of us. The sea urchin is so creamy and delicious! And those tuna sashimi is incredible good! The top pick place to experience Tokyo that I highly recommend!
I felt disappointed that they used horseradish wasabi, and way too much of it, which overpowered the taste of the sushi.
Reached at 9am and had to wait nearly an hour to be seated. I do not recommend going in groups bigger than 2, as they will split you up.
English menu available.
Unveiling Tsukiji's Seafood Symphony
In the heart of Tsukiji Outer Market, where tourists roam with curious taste buds, we stumbled upon a culinary gem - "Tsukiji Itadori Bekkan." Known for its seafood prowess, this little joint served up a seafood bowl that promised a gastronomic adventure. Post-pandemic, the prices at Tsukiji seemed to have ascended like a sushi chef's precision knife, but when it comes to an "OMG satisfying" seafood bowl, can you really put a price on bliss?
The Pricey Pleasure of 4200 Yen
Let's talk yen, shall we? A whopping 4200 yen for a bowl might sound like a sushi-slap to the wallet, but hey, this is Tsukiji, and we're here for the full throttle of flavors. The most expensive item on the menu, this bowl was a seafood symphony featuring an ensemble cast of:
Fatty Bluefin Tuna
Medium Fatty Bluefin Tuna
Bluefin Tuna
Head-on Red Shrimp
Scallops
Salmon
Simmered Conger Eel
Salmon Roe
Sea Urchin
Crab Claw
Chopped Tuna
Tuna Tango and Prawn Parade
The variety of tuna sashimi pirouetted on our palates, each piece a testament to freshness and yumminess. The Negitoro, minced raw tuna, was a flavor-packed dance in our mouths, leaving us with an encore craving. The prawn, delicately sweet and yummy, marched into our hearts with its succulence.
Scallops and Sea Urchin Serenade
But oh, the stars of the show were the raw scallops and sea urchin. The uni, fabulously sweet and delicious, delivered a silky, flavorful performance with no foul seafood symphony was complete without the headliner, and this scallop took center stage – soft, silky, and overflowing with sweetness, it was the ocean's love song in our mouths.
The Tsukiji Craving Fixer
In Tsukiji Outer Market, cravings take the form of luxurious seafood bowls. When the call comes, you answer, and Tsukiji Itadori Bekkan's creation is the answer to your seafood desires.
Waited around half n hour on weekday lunch.
High quality fish and sea food
Very delicious tuna, fragrant and rich in flavor
Chop tuna was very delicious as well
Sadly the restaurant was a bit small.
They were about to close, but the chef beckoned me to come in to have a seat. I asked if it was ok to take photos and he said yes.
Had the best sushi of my trip here. The photo's don't do the meal justice.
Great little sushi joint in an alley between streets in Tsukiji market. We got there around 7:45am, and by the time we left an hour later there was already a sizeable line forming. Recommend getting there early if you're not willing to wait.
The price is excellent considering the strength of the dollar vs the yen right now, so you really feel the value of the fresh sushi.
Super fresh sushi and some amazing sake too. Had the lunch set for 3900¥ which includes matcha tea and miso soup. Be prepared to wait at least 20-30 minutes.
